On October 30,1973,the council of Waukee,Iowa,met in session fof the
purpose of a public hearing upon the budget estimate as published and the
detail submitted in support thereof.There was present a quorum as required
by law.
The council found that the notice of time and place of hearing had been pub-
lished at Adel,Iowa at the Dall:lasCounty News in accordance l,ith law and the
direction of the Counciland that the affidavit of publication was available to
file with ehe County Auditor.The council found that thenotice of time and
plance of hearing had been posted at the following location:Town Hall,
Library,and Fire Station in accordinance with the law and direction of
the Council.
The budget estimate was consider and taxpayer heard for and against said
estmmate as follows:NONE
After'hearing all taxpayers desiring to be heard,the Council approved and
adopted the budget as corrected by the Council and as stated in the Cer'tificate
of Budget Summary and accompanying detail and the resolution allocating app-
ropriations to the fund,programs and activities.
The vote on final adoption of the budget was as follows:
Ayes:Daniel Gardiner,Jack Carps,Harry Jones,George Kramer,Dr Ronald
Blessing and Bernard Boone,Mayor
Nays:None
The clerk was directed to fOrllard the adopted budget summary and certificate
of municipal corporation taxes to the county audi tWO'as provided by law.
