None.Motion carried. It was moved by Councilman Gruber and seconded by councilman Thompson that the rule requiring an Ordinance to be read on three seperate days be dispensed with.The Mayor put the question on the motion,and the roll being called,the following named councilmen voted: AYES:Copeland,Gruber,Grandfield,Larson and Thompson. Nays:None.Motion carried. It was moved by councilman Gruber,and seconded by councilman Larson, that the Ordinance Resolution entitled:"AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.4l0--AN ORDINANCE REGULATING TRAILERS AND TRAILER PARKS WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WAUKE~,IOWA,AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF BEnow put upon its final passage and adoption. The Mayor put the question on the final passage and adoption of said Ordinance Resolution,and the roll being called,the following named Councilmen voted: AYES:Copeland,Gruber,Grandfield,Larson and Thompson. NAYS:None.Motion carried. The council discussed moving a water hyrant on Ashworth Drive.It was decided not to move it at the present time. Proposed projects for the year and employees handbookand upgrading of ordinances were discussed by the council. Mike Blizek met with the council regarding enlarging for a Beer Garden behind his place of business. Moved by Thompson seconded by Larson to grant permission to Mike Blizek DBA Old Bank with these restrictions:Mike must control the following: No excessive noise,no littering,no signs in alley,must be well lighted and must be closed by 10 P.M.Carried 4 to 1. Meeting adjourned. May 17,1976 II This meeting was called to issue$75,000 Revenue Water Bonds. REF:Water bond minutes. The council met in special session May 17th with Mayor Boone presiding and all councilmen present. Moved by Gruber seconded by Grandfield to purchase a roller from the Dept.of Transportation for $400.Carried 5 to O. 1~30 Moved by Larson seconded by Thomposon to purchase a 1968 Chev.Truck from the Dept.of Transportation for a cost of $3200.Carried 5 to O. Mike Blizek met with the council regarding the time limit of 10 P.M. for beer garden to be open.Council agreed to a one month trial period for late closing. A delegation of fire hydrants in the council. students met with the council regarding painting of bi-cenntenial colors.It was unanimously approved by Moved by Copeland seconded by Grandfield ~o change water rates.Min- imum bill for 3,000 gallons to be $4.00.~11 over 3,000 gallons to be .00lfper gal.Carried. Moved by Larson seconded by Thompson to approve Liquor permit for Old Bank.Carried 4 to O. Moved by Copeland seconded by Grandfield to approve the following cig- arette permits:Torch,Uptown Cafe,Way's Country Mkt.,Golden Spur, Owl-Pine,and Casey's.Carried 4 to O. Moved by Grandfield seconded by Copeland to purchase a chip spreader from West Des Moines School District for $250.Carried 4 to O. Moved by Grandfield seconded by Thompson to approve annual dues to C I R L G of $473.10.American Gas Association dues $100.Carried 4 to O. Ron Vest salary to be considered at next regular meeting.When hired his salary was to be reviewed after 6 months of employment. Officer Scott gave his monthly police report. Moved by Larson seconded by Grandfield to approve dues >o__~40 per year for Police association.Carried 4 to O. Mayor
