Closing of the City park for the winter will be October 19,1976.
No parking signs will be installed across from the fire station.

The Waukee city council met in regular session on November 8,1976
with Mayor Boone presiding and all councilmen present.
Moved by Copeland,second by Gruber,to approve minutes as read.
Carried 5 to O.
Moved by Thompson,second by Larson,to purchase a 4-wheel drive
3/4 ton Dodge truck for the fire department from Hawkeye Dodge
at a cost of $5640.00.Carried 5 to O.
Engineer Henry Oakes and Paul Huscher are to meet with the Planning
and Zoning Commission on November 22,1976.
Police report was received and filed by the council.
Moved by Copeland,second by Grandfield to adopt the following
resolution:
RESOLUTION NO.SOOOB
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA,
that the Council authorizes the construction of the sewage treatment
works project know as project number (s)Aeration Project and
all contract and agreements necessary thereto.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council accepts the offer of a
State grant of 5 percent of the estimate of reasonable cost of
the project under the terms specified in the Grant Aagreement
and that Bernard Boone,Mayor,and Remo Nizzi,Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the Grant Agreement and any
amendments thereto and affix the seal of the City thereto on
behalf of the City and that Remo Nizzi is authorized and directed
to sign and date the documents required by the Comptroller of
Iowa for payment of the grant amount by the State.
The undersigned duly qualified and acting City Clerk of the City
of Waukee,Iowa,does hereby certify:
That the above Resolution is a true and correct copy of the Resolution
accepting the Grant Agreement regularly adopted at a legally con=
vened meeting of the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,
duly held on the 8th day of November,1976;and further that the
resolution has been fully recorded in the Journal of Proceedings
and Records in my office.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF,I have hereunto set my hand this 9th day of
