The City council discussed a larger water tower to help the
rates for the city.A 200,000 gallon tower was discussed.

Council to discuss city budget at February 21 meeting.
Congregate meals at noon for the City of Waukee and the surrounding
community can be started if so desired.It was unanimously agreed
by the council to use the fire station for this purpose if this
is a demand.

Clerk to
Eugene Franks requested permission to hook up to the City water for
his farm south of the lagoon.Tentative approval was given by the
council.
Recreation,such as tennis courts,was discussed by the council.
No action taken at this time.Ron Larson to get further information.
The police report was given by Ron Vest.

A special meeting was held on February 21,1977 with Mayor Boone
presiding and all councilmen present except Gruber to work on the
City of Waukee budget for the year 1977-78.
Moved by Grandfield,second by Thompson,to have a hearing on the
budget on March 7,1977 at 6:00 p.m.and instructed clerk to publish
same.
Moved by Thompson,second by Grandfield,to have a hearing on
Revenue Sharing at 4:30 p.m.on March 7,1977 and instructed clerk
to publish same in the Dallas County News.
