Moved by Copeland,second by Grandfield,to issue credit cards to police for telephone calls pertaining to city business.Carried 5 to O. The council discussed equipment needed by the city for the following year:3/4 ton pickup and tractor and snow plow for the maintenance department. The council discussed the SSES study that DEQ is requlrlng from the city.An engineering firm will be interviewed on the 23rd of January concerning this matter. Moved by Copeland,second by Grandfield,to reappoint Remo Nizzi as ClRALG representative with Bernard Boone as alternate.Carried 5 to O. Future projects were discussed by the council but no priorities were given:Streets,annexation,new water filter and larger water lines, feasibility of selling water outside the city limits,24 hour police coverage and upgrading our zoning ordinance and comprehensive plan. Dale Boone's service was terminated as of January 12,1978.
