Moved by Thompson,second by Reddinger,to approve minutes as read. Carried 4 to O. Jim Berner and Lloyd Royer met with the council regarding an additional Little League diamond.Plans for diamond on east corner of park was presented to the council.The council asked for cost of grading, fencing,and other costs pertaining to a new diamond and report back to council. Moved by Gruber,second by Oetting,to approve a liquor Bob's Tap.Voting yes--Gruber,Thompson,and Oetting. not voting.Carried 3 to O. Ron Jackson of Kirkland-Michael discussed grant received by city for SSES study.Moved by Reddinger,second by Thompson,to accept the federal SSES grant in amount of $43,650.00.Carried 4 to O. 1426.98 7.14 328.17 45.00 90.00 66.36 25.00 189.95 155.00 20.95 26.51 Storm sewer along 8th Street was discussed by the council and it's problems in receiving easement at the south end of the project.Clerk is to get further information from Oakes Engineering concerning this problem. A special council meeting was set for September 17,1979 at 7:30 p.m. concerning upgrading all ordinances for City of Waukee. Fawn Engineering Co has requested the city issue industrial bonds in the sum of $700,000.00 to purchase the Ram property.The council requested more information and a meeting to discuss this matter. Clerk--Mayor August 27,1979 A special meeting was held on August 27,1979 at 6:30 p.m,with Mayor pro- tem Harry Copeland presiding and the following councilmen present: Reddinger,Thompson,and Oetting,Mayor Boone absent and vacancy on council. This meeting was called regarding a meeting with representatives of Fawn Engineering concerning industrial bonds. Attorney David L Claypool gave a report on Industrial Revenue Bonds. Moved by Reddinger,second by Thompson that the city council of the City of Waukee,Iowa (the 'Issuer')will meet on the 17th day of September, 1979,at city hall in Waukee,Iowa at 7:30 p,m.for the purpose of conduct- ing a public hearing on the proposal to issue Industrial Development Revenue Bonds,Series 1979 (Wittern Realty,Inc.Project_of the Issuer, in the aggregate principal amount of $700,000.00 and to loan said amount to Wittern Realty,Inc (the 'Company')for the purpose defraying the cost to that amount of the acquisition of land,buildings,equipment,improve- ments and other industrial facilities to be owned by the Company and leased to and operated by an industrial tenant for the manufacturing,processing or assembling of manufactured products.The Bonds,when issued will be limited obligations and will not constitute general obligation of the Issuer nor will they be payable in any manner by taxations,but the Bonds will be payable solely and only from amounts received by the Issuer under a Loan Agreement between the Issuer and the Company,the obligation of
