Brian Redshaw,clerk-administrator,finished giving the council a report on the budget. Moved by Scott,second by Higgs,to st;art the process for issuing G 0 bonds to help solve the cash flow problem of the city.Carried 3 to O. Meeting adjourned.~+H 'March 25,1980 A special meeting of the Waukee City Council was held on March 25,1980 at 7:00 p.m.with Mayor Harry Copeland presiding and all councilmen present. Henry Oakes,Jack Sparks,and Paul Huscher were also present. Moved by Higgs,second by Scott,to approve minutes.Carried 4 to O. The council decided to name Tuesday,April 8,1980 at 7:00 p.m. for a budget hearing. The purpose of this special meeting was to consult with Henry Oakes,city engineer,and Jack Sparks,bondsman,on the west end storm s ewer pro j ec t .. The cost of this project will be approximately $350,000.00. Funding will increase the tax levy 1.7 mils over a 10 year period. No action was taken on this project at this meeting. The clerk was instructed to get an advisory vote on this project at the April 22,le80 special election. Moved py Spencer,second by Scott,to adjourn.Carried 4 to O. ."'-
