The City administrator brought the City council up to date with regard to the statement of account with Kirkham,Michael &Assoc.on the wastewater treatment facilities plan.Moved by Christianson,second by Rees,to pay Kl1A $2800.00 which has been received from EPA.Carried 4 to O. Moved by Oetting,second by Scott,to approve requests for reimburse- ment in the amounts of $2948.55 and $1178.76 for the facilities plan. Carried 4 to O. A discussion was held concerning a franchise ordinance for garbage collection.This idea was tabled in favor of an ordinance requiring permits for garbage collectors.The City attorney was instructed to formulate such an ordinance. Natural gas refunds were discussed and it was decided that any action on this matter would be deferred until the end of the fiscal year. Moved by Rees,second by Scott,to draft a lette~concerning certain Dallas County Sheriff deputies running stop signs in Waukee.Carried 3 to l--Oetting voting No. Mayor Neubauer appointed Mark Casey to the Public Safety Committee. Moved by Scott,second by Oetting,to adjourn.Carried 4 to O. Meeting adjourned at 11:23 p.m. 2,1982 A special meeting of the Waukee city council was called to order at 7:03 p.m.on March 2,1982 by Mayor Joseph Neubauer.All councilmen were present.The purpose of this meeting was to reschedule the regular council meeting originally scheduled for March 9.This meeting conflicted with the girls state basketball game in which Waukee will be playing. Moved by Christianson,second by Scott,to reschedule the meeting for March 8,1982 at 7:30 p.m.and to direct the City clerk to publish in the Dallas County News a notice for the FY 82-83 budget hearinf, at the above date and time.Carried 5 toO. Moved by Scott,second by Jansma,to reschedule the Wastewater Treat- ment Facilities Plan hearing for 7:00 p.m.on April 13,1982 and to direct the City clerk to publish same in Dallas County News.Carried 5 to O. Moved by Scott,second by Oetting,to adjourn at 7:13 p.m.Carried 5 to O. Meeting adjourned.
