AN ORDINANCE CODE,TRAFFIC BUSINESS DISTRICT TO AMEND CHAPTER 502,WAUKEE,MUNICIPAL REGULATIONS CONCERNING PARKING IN THE (TRIANGLE). BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Waukee: Section 1.Section 502.58 Municipal Code,Traffic is hereby word "Angle"and inserting in "Parallel"so that it will read: of Chapter 502 Waukee amended by deleting the lieu thereof the word §502.5B.Parallel parking is permitted on the North side of Walnut Street between West side of Ashworth Drive and East side of Sixth Street. The Council discussed the proposed Meisner development which lies 8/10 mile south of Waukee.Water and gas line extensions were discussed regarding cost sharing by the City and the devel- oper.It was agreed that the developer would pay the toaal cost of the utility extensions. Joe Stork presented the Utilities Committee report.His committee's recommendation was to establish a grain drying rate for 2 months per year (October and November)at a rate of 47¢per cc~.Brian Redshaw was to supply the Council with average consumption data for dryers in Waukee. Meeting adjourned. 6,1986 The Waukee City Council held a specialneeting on October 6, 1986 and was called to order at "7:OOp .rn,by Mayor Gordon Christianson.Brian J.Redshaw was present and taking minutes. A roll call was taken and all Councilmen were present except Stork, Joe Stork arrived at 7:05 p.m. 103 October 6,1986 (cont) Guests at this meeting were:Leigh Davis and Dave Reed. The Mayor advised the Council that Farmer's Co~op has started using propane for their grain drying operation on Friday,October 3rd. Baer Ag Supply had indicated a concern about switching to pro- pane if the current cost differential continues and they install vaporizers for their grain dryer, Moved by Gruber,second by Stork,to establish a new grain drying rate for the months of October and November for commercial vendors. The rate is to be reviewed annually and set at such a level to provide for a 10%net profit ratio to be determined by the City Administrator,Carried 5 toO. October 14,1986 The regular meeting of the Waukee City Council was called to order on October 14,1986 at 7:30 p.m.by Mayor Gordon Christianson. A roll call was held as follows:Present:Br-own,Eoifeldt, Stork.Absent:Gruber and Tovrea. Guests and staff at this meeting were:Merle Rees,Terry Jilek, Paul Huscher,Roger Buffington,Brian Redshaw,Ann Ford,Floyd Rosenkranz,Diane Findlay,\vendy Hansen-Wagner,Virginia Clark, Phil Kausalik,Ivick Critelli,Rev.John Winkler,Bonnie Palmer, Leigh Davis,Leroy Jessen,Larry Clayton,and Don Henson. Moved by Hoifeldt,second by Brown,to approve the minutes of September 9,13,30 and October 6.Carried 3 to O.
