were opened as follows:

Carried 4 to O.
Frank Hoifeldt gave the Parks Coooittee report.
Bob Barrett gave the Utilities Committee report.
The Council directed the City Clerk to advertise for the Bain-
tenance position in the Des ~1oines Register and Roundup with a
salary of $14-,560.00.
Moved by Gruber,second by Scott,to adjourn at 10:30 p.m.Carried
4 toO.

A special meeting of the Waukee City Council was called to order
on l1arch 7,1989 at 7:00 p.m.~l1ayor Floyd Rosenkranz.
A roll call was held and the following Councilmen were present:
Scott,Hoifeldt and BarretL Absent:Gruber and Brown.
l10ved by Hoifeldt,secorid by Scott,to set March 14,1989 at 7:30
p.m.for FY 89-90 budget hearing at City Hall.Carried 3 toO.
An informal discussion was held concerning Hannah Weil's accrued
vacation.This item will be placed on the agenda for March 14.
l1ayor Rosenkranz spoke to the Council regarding the use of utility
reserve funds for the purchase of equipment.
Jack Wearmouth spoke to the Council regarding annexation and
planning.
l10ved by Barrett,second by Scott,to adjourn at 7:50 p.m.Carried

The regular meeting of the Waukee City Council was called to order
on l1arch It+,1989 at 7:30 p vm.by Hayo r pro-tern,Jerry Brown.
A roll call was held and all Councilmen were present except
Gruber and l1ayor Rosenkranz.
