Redshaw was present and taking minutes. order on Brian J. A roll call was taken and the following Councilmen were present: Gruber,Brown,Hoifeldt and Barrett.Absent:Scott. The l62nd St.streetlight was discussed.The consensus of t~e Council vJaS to set up the light on the southeast corner.Brian Redshaw is to contact Iowa Power and have the proposal re-drawn for the existing pole. Hove d by Hoifeldt,second by Brown,to rerock l52nd St.for approx- imately 1400.00.Carried 4 to O. The Council discussed the long te=U.S.G.I1.Agreement.The Utilities Committee recommended a long term agreement~Paul Huscher advised the Council on the legal aspects.The Clerk was advised to contact Bill Houston and ask for a 3 year tern option to renew for 2 successive terms. lfuved by Brown,second by Barrett,to adjourn at 8:08 p.m.Carried 4 to O. l1eeting adjourned. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Waukee: Section 1.Section 111.7 of Chapter III Waukee Muncipal Code,Finances and Records.of the City is hereby amended by deleting §111.7 and substituting in lieu thereof the follow- ing: §111.7.Purchas ing-orders..All purchases of ser- vices,supplies and equipment shall be made only after issuance of a purchase order, and no invoice shall be accepted unless authorized by such an order.Purchases not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000.00)may be made by the Clerk of those officials authorized by the Clerk, but only on issuance of a spot purchase order in writing signed by the authorized officer.A copy of such spot purchase order must be delivered to the Clerk within twenty-four (24)hours,weekends and holi- days excepted.All other purchases shall be valid only if a purchase order has been given in writing and signed by the Clerk.
