Councilman Gruber introduced AMENDING CHAPTER 504 §5.44D BY STATION 261+86 DRIVEWAY SOUTH. an Ordinance entitled:AN;ORDINANCE ADDING PERMITTED ACCESS TO HIGHWAY 6 AT It was moved by Councilman Gruber,and seconded by Councilman Barrett, that the Ordinance entitled:"AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 504 §504.4D BY ADDING PERMITTED ACCESS TO HIGHWAY 6 AT STATION 261+86 DRIVEWAY SOUTH"be now read by the City Clerk.The Mayor put the question on the motion,and the roll being called,the following named Councilmen voted: Ayes:Bailey,Barrett,Clark,Gruber,ScottNays:None recorded Whereupon,'the Mayor pro-tern declared the motion duly carried and the Clerk read the proposed Ordinance amendment as follows:. Scott Thomas reported that the fire department was searching for a potential fire station site.He indicated that Kenneth Booth was not interested in selling part of his property located northeast of the intersection of Ashworth Dr.and University Ave.Jack Wearmouth,City Planner,indicated that the Fire Dept.should continue to pursue this location. Mark Broderick and Gary Smith discussed the agreement for the R-2 to R-3 rezoning between 7th &8th Streets,south of Cherry st. Moved by Scott to make the restriction effective for 36 months.Motion died for lack of a second.The time period for the elderly housing project had been previously set at the February 27 meeting.
