The regular meeting of the Waukee City Council was called to order
at 7:30 p.m.by Mayor Floyd Rosenkranz.Brian Redshaw was present
and taking minutes.
A roll call was taken and the following named Councilmen were present:
Gruber,Bailey,Scott,Barrett,Clark.
Guests and staff present at this meeting were:Bill Lillis,Gary
Smith,Verle Smith,Jerald Yonker,Jim Berner,Gil Stanley,Bob
Christianson,Beth Dalbey,Ben Phillips,Carolyn Weieneth,Debbie
Foster,Bonnie Foster,Steve Pierce,Gary Kraft,Ruth Sindt,Jerald

RESOLUTION ACCEPTING MARY JO PLACE,A SUBDIVISION OF
THE CITY OF WAUKEE,DALLAS COUNTY,IOWA
WHEREAS,Verle V Smith and Gary C Smith has presented a final plat
for Mary Jo Place to the Waukee planning and Zoning Commission and
the Waukee Planning and Zoning Commission has a9proved this plat on
May I,1990,and
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,at a regular City Council meeting on
May 8,1990,approved final plat,Mary Jo Place,Waukee,Iowa,Dallas
County.

Bill Lillis indicated that the decision was made to voluntari~y annex
the Des Moines Golf and Country Club into West Des Moines.
It was moved by Councilman Clark and seconded by Councilman Barrett,
that the Ordinance entitled:"AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 110,lJ.O.l,
110.2,and 110.3 BY AMENDING THE AMOUNT OT BE "PAID TO CITY COUNCIL
PERSONS AND MAYOR,AND PROVIDING TAHT THE SALARY OF THE TREASURER WILL
BE SET BY RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL"be now read by the City
Clerk.The Mayor put the question on the motion,and the roll being

The special meeting of the Waukee City Council was called to order
at 7:30 p.m.by Mayor Pro-Tern Raymond Clark.Brian J.Redshaw was
present and taking minutes.
Guests present were:Mike Lake,Nancy Timmons,Jim Arrasmith,Louis
Baer,Bob Sayre,Mark Broderick,Phil Broderick,Joan HeskettL Jack
Wearmouth,Steve Pierce,Marty Olson,GUy LeMar,Gil Northway,Jerald
Steele,Chuck Hoffa,Beth Dolbey,Randy Foster,Kirk Tyler,Floyd
Royer.
A roll call was taken and the following named Councilmen were present:

The origioal purpose of the meeting was to discuss the possibility
of extending 6th street north into the Waukee Development Corporation

Curtis Scott arrived at 8:14p.m.
A motion was made to have the City Engineer to study the proposal
of having two accesses on Highway 6 in the vicinity of the intersection
of Sixth Street and Highway 6.Motion died for lack of second.
Moved by Scott,second by Bailey,to approve a temporary sign until
November 1,1990 for Atlantic Bottling.
