HomeMy WebLinkAbout1990-05-23-Special MinutesI 175 May 23,1990 The Waukee City Council was called to order at 8:00 p.m.by Mayor Pro-Tem Ray Clark. A rollcall was taken and the following named Councilmen were present: Barrett,Clark,Gruber,Scott,Bailey. Planning &Zoning members present were:Foster,Korpanty,Steele, Heskett and Casey. Guests and staff present were:Pierce,Chris Bourne,Phil Broderick, Lewis Baer,Guy LeMar. A discussion was held with Lewis Baer,Guy LeMar and Phil Broderick concerning the North extension of 6th Street. Moved by Scott,second by Barrett,to place 6th Street west of grain bin and curving East to make it line up with the joint property line of Interstate Automotive and Phil Broderick with each party to dedicate 33 feet of street right-of-way to the City of Waukee.A roll call vote was taken as follows: Ayes: Nays: Bailey,Barrett,Clark,Gruber,Scott None recorded Chris Bourne of rural Waukee discussed the option of voluntary annex- ation forhis property located at the corner of Waco Place and Univ- ersity Ave. Jack Wearmouth continued his discussion on the Comprehensive Plan update. Moved by Gruber,second by Scott,to authorize the expense of making 3 copies of the Waukee Comprehensive Plan map for distribution to the City Development Board.Carried 5 to o. Moved by Barrett,second by Bailey,to adopt the Comprehensive Plan update and maps as presented.Carried 5 to O. Moved by Gruber,second by Barrett,to adjourn at 10:12 p.m.Carried 5 to O. Meeting adjourned. Mayor 'pt"o-tem d'lerk May 30,1990 A special meeting of the Waukee City Council was called to order at 7:30 p.m.on May 30,1990 by Mayor Floyd Rosenkranz. A roll call was taken and all Councilmen were present except Bailey. Brian J.Redshaw was present and taking minutes. Guests present:Tim Wagner,Jack Wearmouth,Chris Bourne,Mark Broderick and Jerald Steele. A FY 89-90 budget amendment hearing was held at the Fire Station as published in the Dallas County News.The Mayor asked for any questions or objections to the proposed budget amendment and none were received, either written or oral. /' Moved by Gruber,second by Clark,to adopt Resolution No.131,adopting the FY 89-90 budget amendment in the amount of $173,846 as follows:
