The special meeting of the Waukee City Council was called to order at
6:55 A.M.by Mayor Floyd W.Rosenkranz.Brian Redshaw was present and
taking minutes.
A roll call was taken and the following Councilmen were present:
Gruber,Scott,Barrett and Clark.Absent Bailey.
The following guests were also present:Paul Huscher,Virginia Clark
and Verle Smith.
Moved by Gruber,second by Clark,to pay $25,000 to Waukee Christian

Church insurance endorsement.Carried 4 to O.
Moved by Scott,second by Clark,to enter into purchase agreement as
amended by City Attorney extending the option until August 15th.Carried
4 to O.

The regular meeting of the Waukee City Council was called to order at
7:30 P.M.by Mayor Floyd W.Rosenkranz.Brian J.Redshaw W~R DT8Renr
and taking minutes.
A roll call was taken and the fnJlowing councilmen were present:
Gruber,Bailey,Scott,Barrett,Clark.
Moved by Scott,second by Clark,to approve the minutes of 6/12,6/15,
6/25 and 7/2 minutes.
Guests present were:Doug Neppl,Roger Anderson,Harold Bissell,Jack
Wearmouth,Paul Huscher,Tom Mehl,Al Munsterman,Steve Pierce,Bud
Lautenbach,Ben Phillips,Cynthis Bik,Henry Krohn,Don Henson,Wayne
Guttenfelder,Grey Breuer,Lloyd Royer,Bob Underberg,Harry Beveridge,
John Bruecken,Chris Bourne,Bill Knapp II,Steve Venard,Dr.Ronald
Woods,Bill Forbes.
Moved by Bailey,Second by Gruber to allow craft sales at Waukee Park.I

Moved by Clark,second by Barrett,to approve an $800 expenditure
for food on August 25th.Carried 5 to O.
Ths'cMay?r,announced this was the time and place set for-fiearIag and
inspection of bid~fo~·th~~~r6pbsed.Waukee,Iowa -East Street/Warrior
Land Paving Project.
Upon investigation,it was found that no persons had appeared and filed
objections to the proposed plans,specifications or contract for or cost
of such Waukee,Iowa -East Street/Warrior Lane Paving Project.
Council Member Clark introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption,seconded by Council Member Barrett;and after due consideration
thereof by the council,the Mayor put the question upon the motion and the
roll being called,the following named members of the council voted:
