The special meeting of the Waukee City Council was called to order at 7:15 P.M.by Mayor
Pro-Tern Don Bailey.Brian J.Redshaw was present and taking minutes.
A roll call was taken and the following councilmen were present:Bailey,Ba=ett,and
Clark.Absent:Gruber,Scott and Mayor Rosenkranz.
Guests at the meeting were Harry Jones,Scott Thomas,Virginia Clark,Tim Royer,and
Chuch Johnson.
Nick Gruber arrived at 7:30 P.M.
Moved by Clark,second by Ba=ett,to purchase a Wacker 5hp Compactor frol)1Capital City
Equipment for $1215.00.Carried 4 to O.
AUgust 4th,1991 1700-2100 Mrs Schlaefer Block Party 170 Southview Drive.Moved by
Gruber,second by Clark,to approve the use of Southview.
Moved by Clark,second by Ba=ett,to approve the purchase of 1979 John Deere 770-A Motorgrader
for $24,500.

Direct City Engineer to design sidewalks on both sides of 4th street and south side of
Northview Drive south of Ashworth Drive.
