Brian Redshaw was present and taking minutes.Roll was taken and the following Councilmen were present:Gruber,Bailey,Scott,Barrett and Clark. Moved by Clark,second by Barrett,to approve the Bill Presentation in the amount of $90,684.84. Steve Pierce of Veenstra &Kimm spoke regarding Model Home Ordinance pressure to Occupancy Permit. Moved by Scott,second by Clark, 4 to 1.Barrett voting no. Moved by Gruber,second by Bailey,to adjourn.Motion carried 5 to O. Meeting adjourned at 8:48 P.M. permit occupy. the proposed Xenia Waterline Connection. The City Oouncil cannot issue an to set October 30th as Beggars Night.Motion carried ATTEST: October 15,1991 The regular meeting of the Waukee City Council was called to order at 7:00 P.M.on Tuesday October 15,1991 at the Waukee City Hall.Mayor Floyd W.Rosenkranz was presiding. Brian J.Redshaw was present and taking minutes. Roll Call was taken and the following Councilmen were present:Gruber,Bailey,Scott, and Clark.Absent:Barrett. TIle following guests and staff were also present:Pierce,Weller,Frank Duroy,Ernie Thomas,Larry Stanley,Rick Ross,Steve Grubb,Gil Stanley,Don Henson,Bob Evans, Dr.Ron Woods,Ben Phillips,Delores Brown,Robert Brown,Jeff Abbas,Marilyn Rutz, Paul Huscher,Dan White,Lloyd Royer,Tim Royer,Mark Cunningham. Gil Stanley -Mr.Stanley addressed the City Council regardding potential water service on North Warrior Lane fire flow capability -Waukee. Bob Barrett arrived at 7:20 P.M. Moved by Bailey,second by Clark,to pay dues for FY91-92 Dallas County Development. Motion carried 5 to O. Delores Brown of 810 3rd Street spoke to the City Council regarding sidewalk construction and fence placement. Moved by Bailey,second by Clark,to remove posts and fabric with homeowners to replace fence where City dictates.Motion carried 5 to O. Moved by Clark,second by Scott,to approve the expenditure of $1,960.00 from Olson's Body and Paint.Motion carried 5 to O. Bart Weller of the Waukee Fire Department spoke to the City Council and .rocccmendod $1,358.51 from Electronic Engineering.Moved by Gruber,second by Barrett,to approve ~he bid of $1,358.51 from Electronic Engineering.Motion carried 5 to O. Authorization by Mar:ilyn F.Deets for closed session.Written request thru.Moved by Barrett,second by Scott,to go into closed session at 8:10 P.M.Ayes:Gruber,Bailey, Scott,Barrett,Clark.Nayes:None recorded. Section 25.5 (1)(I)-(I)To evaluate the professional competency of an individual whose appointment,hiring,performance or discharge is being considered when nesessary to prevent needless and irreparable injury to that individual's reputation and that individual requests a closed session. Moved by Gruber,second by Clark,to leave closed session at 9:00 P.M.Ayes:Gruber, Bailey,Scott,Barrett,Clark.Nayes:none recorded. Paul E.Huscher spoke to the City Council on Matters Regarding Annexation Pendi.ng Before the City Development Board.Hearing on Motion Octoeer 25,1991. Moved by Gruber,second by Clark,to approve th§4~!nutes of 9/10,9/19 and 9/30. Motion carried 5 to O. There was a discussion concerning a proposed Medel Home Ordinance. Moved by Barrett,second by Bailey,to receive and file the Treasurer's Report.Motion ca=ied 5 to O. Moved by Gruber,second by Clark to approve the Bill Presentation $72,181.96 with the exception of KENKO,Inc.Motion carried 5 to O.
