Mayor Rosenkranz declared the ordinance duly adopted and passed.
OJrene Acres Plats 11-12 Sidewalk Bonds.Motion by Councilman Gruber,seconded by
Councilman Clark,to release the letter of credit furnished by United Equity and to
accept the performace bonds offered by Cosgriff Construction Companyfor the sidewalk
construction in Corene Acres,Plats 11 and 12.Motion carried 4 to O.
B1liJding Code lIdoption Ordinace and B1lilding Pemrit Fee SChedule.A planning session
was set for May 23,at 8:30 A.M.at City Hall to review.
Spring Cleanup Day.This item was not budgeted this year or next fiscal year.It is
noted that direction was received to include in FY93-94budget.
Xenia Waterline Agreement.No action required.
1992 Fireworks Purchase.Brian was directed to negotiate with last year's supplier and
to spend between $3,000 and $3,200.

utilities.Have Harry Jones set up monthly schedule for hooking up stand by generator and
reviewing procedure.
Public Safety.CommendOfficier White for resuscitation efforts on 5/2.
Business Association,South£ork Association,and Library.Councilman Clark gave reports.
Planning &Zoning.Printed minutes accepted.
Mayor's Report.Brian was directed to contact Dallas Center as to the cost of recycling
bins in their corrmunity.
Matters Regarding Annexation Pending Before the City Developrent Board.A motion was
made by Councilman Clark,seconded by Councilman Gruber,to go:into closed,session.A
roll call vote was taken.Ayes:Bailey,Clark,Duroy,Gruber.Nayes:none recorded.
Absent:Scott.Motion carried 4 to o.Closed session began at 10:00 P.M.
Motion was made at 10:15 by Councilman Gruber,seconded by Councilman Clark,to come out
of closed session.Motion carried 4 to O.
There being no further business to consider,a motion was made by Councilman Gruber,
seconded by Councilman Clark,to adjourn.Motion carried 4 to O.

Floyd Rosenkranz with .Brian Redshaw taking minutes.
Roll call was taken and the following Councilmen were present:Bailey,Clark,and Gruber.

The Council talked to Harry about fertilizing the Southfork Park.Horticulturist
from DMACC.
Veenstra &Kimn recommends approval.Moved buy Bailey,
construction plans with minor corrections.Motion ca=ied
Mayor's report was given.
Administrator's report was given.The Council reversed unbudgeted insurance expense
for the Library.
Location was discussed regarding recycling bins.Brian Redshaw was authorized to
negotiate the price for recycling bins.

The regular meeting of the Waukee City Council was called to order by Mayor Floyd Rosenkranz
at 7:12 P.M.on Monday June 1,1992 with Bob Barrett taking minutes.
Roll call was taken with the following Councilmen present:Don Bailey,Ray Clark,Frank
Duroy,Nick Gruber and Curt Scott.
Staff and guests present were:Jim Tucker,Ben Phillips,Don Henson,Brian Redshaw,Paul

to approve the minutes of May 18,1992 with the addition of the date at the beginning of
