Mayor Donald L.Bailey,Jr.
Roll Call.A roll call vote was taken and the following Council members were present:Nick
Gruber,Monica Lihs,Dan Lugar and Robyn Heath.Councilman Terry Strain was absent.
FY96-97 Budget.Kurt presented the proposed FY96-97 budget.Jerry Brown and Linda Mack
represented the Library;Don Henson represented the Fire Department;and Brad Curtis
represented the First Responders.Each department and fund budgets were reviewed and
questions answered.The proposed budget shows total revenues of$4,013.739 and expenditures
of$583,525 for Community Protection,$226,130 for Human Development,$2,184.130 for
Home &Community environment,and $330,895 for Policy &Administration.The estimated
tax levy rate per $1000 valuation on regular property is $11.54879 and for agricultural land is
$2.87985.The public hearing for the proposed budget is March 4,1996 at City Hall.
Motion to adjourn at 9:16pm by Councihnan Lugar,seconded by Councilman Gruber.Upon a
voice vote the motion carried 4 to 0.
