Donald L.Bailey,Jr.
Roll Call.The Mayor asked for a roll call vote and the following Council Members were present:
Marvin Berger,Nick Gruber,Don Bailey,Bill Peard.Absent:Robyn Heath,Larry Lyon.Robyn
Heath arrived at 7:04 p.m.Larry Lyon arrived at 7:05 p.m.
Presentation -Lipovac and Associates Job Description,Staff Survey Results.Jack Lipovac
and Bob Welsh provided a summary of the completed job descriptions,employee survey results
and status of employees as concerns exemption or non-exemption from the Fair Labor Standards
Act.
Consideration of Filling Vacant Administrator's Position on an Interim Basis.The Council
and former Johoston City Manager,Bob Hays conferred about the possibility of hiring an Interim
Administrator.
Review of Executive Search Consultants.Council discussed possible approaches for employing
an executive search consultant(s).
Council Member Robyn Heath left at 9:00 p.m.
Adjournment.Motion by Councilman Gruber,seconded by Councilman Berger,to adjourn the
meeting at 9:38 p.m.The Mayor asked for a voice vote:Ayes:Peard,Lyon,Gruber,Berger.
Nays:None.Motion carried 4 to O.
