by Mayor Pro-tem Robyn S.Heath.
Roll call.A roll call vote was taken and the following Council members were present:
Larry Lyons,Bill Peard,Nick Gruber,Marvin Berger,and Robyn Heath.Absent:Mayor
Don Bailey.
Agenda of Discussion.
1.The intent of the meeting was to unify the position between Council Members
and the Mayor.
2.To seek ways of healing the wounds between Council Members and the
Mayor.To seek apology and forgiveness for past miscommunication and
divided agenda issues.
3.To secure a method for all members of the Council to win,so that the
community of Waukee will be positive recipients of the work of the Council
and Mayor.
4.Discussion was held regarding methods ofCommunicationiTeam Building-
identified as important in December Counci1fMayor work session.
5.Discussion on how to get Waukee residents involved in attending City
Council sessions to further more community knowledge of Council goals and
Issues.
6.Discussion to hold April 12th work meeting to identify issues,goals,concerns
and directions that uniformly will affect new City Manager.
7.Agreement to postpone for two weeks any and all discussions regarding
Mayor/Council issues when all players can be involved.
Adjournment.Motion to adjourn by Councilman Gruber,second by Councilman Lyon
at 7:15 p.m.The Mayor asked for a roll call vote:Ayes:Gruber,Lyon,Peard,Heath and
Berger.Nays:None.Motion carried 5 to O.
