Mayor Donald L.Bailey,Jr.
Roll was taken and the following Council Members were present:Gruber,Berger,Heath,
Peard.Lyon arrived at 5:09pm.
HEALTH INSURANCE RENEWAL DISCUSSION -The employees of the City
voiced their concems regarding changing the Health Insurance Coverage.Their main
concems are 1)rise in deductible,2)out of pocket expense,and 3)employee paying part
of the premium.After a lengthy discussion by all parties,it was the consensus of the
Council to form a committee of the employees and Council to review together the
different options.
Motioned by Peard,second by Lyon to have the Budget Committee and a Representative
from each Department get together and further discuss this issue.After more discussion
the Mayor asked for a roll call vote:Peard,Lyon,Berger,Heath,Gruber.Motion carried
5-0.
ADJOURNMENT:Motioned by Peard,second by Heath to adjoum at 6:07pm.Motion
carried 5-0.Meeting adjoumed.
