A more complete Mayor's Report may be found on the Mayor's Page at www.waukee.org "The goal of City Hall and your elected officials is to be responsive to your concerns and to make a positive difference in your lives on a daily basis.Your City Council will rely on compromise, consensus, teamwork and unity after that compromise is achieved. We are an Army of one.We are a Team.I would expect healthy debate and would be somewhat disappointed if we agreed on everything;however,I ask the Council that once a vote is taken and a decision is made that we leave the Council Chambers as a whole supporting the consensus that is right for this City. I encourage all of you to get involved in this great city. Our City Council Meetings are held on the first and third Mondays of each month at City Hall.Your civic involvement is a way of molding our future and will give you a sense of ownership and pride in the town we call Waukee. Waukee is an incredible place to live and provides a terrific quality oflife. The credit for this goes to our vibrant business sector, our dedicated and highly talented City Employees, our Police and Fire Departments, the quality school system, our flourishing and rewarding spiritual community, our neighborhoods, volunteers, and the Community Clubs. But,what makes a community is its citizens.I thank each and everyone of you for doing your part to make this a better town."
