SPECIAL MEETING
MARCH 19,2003 I
(l)Call to Order -The special meeting of the Waukee City Council was called to order
by Mayor Pro Tern Bill Peard at 5 :30 PM.
(2)Roll Call-The following members were present:Mayor Pro Tern Bill Peard,and
Council members Nicholas Gmber,Mike Watts and Wayne Johnson.Donald Bailey,Jr.
absent.
(3)Agenda Additions /Approval -No changes.Nick Gmber moved to approve
the agenda as written.Wayne Johnson second.Ayes:Gmber,Johnson,Peard,
Gmber.Nays:None.Absent:Bailey.Motion carried 4 -0 -1.
(4)Resolution:Approving Final Plat for Williams Pointe Plat 1 Mike Watts moved to
approve.Wayne Johnson second.Brief Discussion.Roll call:Ayes:Watts,Johnson,
Gmber,Peard.Nays:None.Absent:Bailey.Motion carried 4 -0 -1.
(5)Resolution:Appointing Jeff Mertz to the Community Development Committee as
replacement for Nancy Horsch Mayor Pro Tern Bill Peard introduced Jeff Mertz as his
replacement for Nancy Horsch.
(6)Resolution:Approving Mayor Pro Tem's appointment of Jeff Mertz to the
Community Development Committee as replacement for Nancy Horsch Nick Gruber
moved to approve the appointment.Mike Watts second.Roll call:Ayes:Gruber,Watts,
Johnson,Peard.Nays:None.Absent:Bailey.Motion carried 4 -0 -1.
At this time Mayor Pro Tern Bill Peard asked for a motion to adjourn,Nick Gruber
moved to adjourn.Mike Watts second.Ayes:All.Nays:None.Motion carried 4 -O.
Meeting Adjourned at 5:32 PM.
