SPECIAL MEETING
(1)Call to Order -The special meeting of the Waukee City Council was called to order
by Mayor Oberman at 5:00 PM.
(2)Roll Call-The following members were present:Tony Oberman,Mayor,and
Council members Nicholas Gruber,JeffV.and Darlene Stanton.Council members Bill
Peard and Don Bailey,Jr.were absent.
(3)Agenda Approval-Council member Stanton moved to approve the agenda as
written.Council member Gruber second.Roll call:Ayes:Stanton,Gruber,Mertz.
Nays:None.Absent:Peard,Bailey.Motion carried 3 -O.
(4)Resolution:Approving Partial Payment Estimate No.2 for Corell Contractor,Inc.
for the Ashworth Drive Water Main Improvements,Phase II in the amount of
$52,430.02 Darlene Stanton moved to approve.Jeff Mertz second.No discussion.Roll
call:Ayes:Stanton,Mertz,Gruber.Nays:None.Absent:Peard,Bailey.Motion carried
3 -0-2.
(5)Resolution:Approving authorization to proceed with the acquisition of private
property rights needed for the project as authorized by Chapter 6,Procedure Under
Eminent Domain ofthe Iowa Code.Nick Gruber moved to approve the resolution.
Darlene Stanton second.No discussion.Roll call:Ayes:Gruber,Stanton,Mertz.Nays:
None.Absent:Peard,Bailey.Motion carried 3 -0 -2.

At this time Mayor Oberman asked for a motion to adjourn.Nick Gruber moved.
Mertz second,Ayes:All.Nays:None.Motion carried 3-0.
Meeting Adjourned at 5:03 PM.
