SPECIAL MEETING
DECEMBER 6,2004
(I)Call to Order -The special meeting of the Waukee City Council was called to order
by Mayor Oberman at 5:00PM.
(2)Roll Call-The following members were present:Tony Oberman,Mayor,and
Council members Nicholas Gruber,Bill Peard and Darlene Stanton.Don Bailey,Jr.and
JeffV.Mertz absent.Bill Peard and Darlene Stanton were electronically present for this
meeting.
(3)Agenda Approval-No changes.Nick Gruber moved;Darlene Stanton second to
approve the agenda as written.Ayes:Gruber,Stanton,Peard.Nays:None.Absent:
Bailey,Mertz.Motion carried 3 -0 -2.
(4)Motion:Approving Renewal Class C Beer Permit including Sunday Sales for KU11l
&Go,LLC dba KUlIl &Go,#202 Nick Gruber moved to approve the motion.Darlene
Stanton second.No discussion.Roll call:Ayes:Gruber,Stanton,Peard.Nays:None.
Absent:Bailey,Mertz.Motion carried 3 -0 -2.
(5)Resolution:Approving Final Plat for Spyglass Nick Gruber moved to approve the
resolution.Darlene Stanton second.Public Works Director John Gibson stated that all
Bonds and Legals were approved by City Attorney Paul Huscher,Mr.Gibson also asked
that the Final Plat be approved contingent on not approving any occupancy permits until
the sewer connection is made in the spring.In addition,the approval should be
contingent on not filing the Final Plat until Spyglass Development passes the water
bacterial test.Roll call:Ayes:Gruber,Stanton,Peard.Nays:None.Motion carried 3 -0
-2.
Mayor Oberman asked for City Attorney Paul Huscher if those council members
attending the meeting electronically had received and had reviewed the 12-06-04 Council
Packet.The response was in the affirmative,
At this time Mayor Oberman asked for a motion to adjourn.Nick Gruber moved.Bill
Peard second.Ayes:All.Nays:None.Motion carried 3-0.
Meeting Adjourned at 5:06PM.
