RESOLUTION 19-258
APPROVING JOB DESCRIPTION
[POLICE LIEUTENANT, POLICE DEPARTMENT]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the Police Chief proposes the creation of a universal Lieutenant job description;
AND,
WHEREAS, the universal Police Lieutenant job description will replace the Police Lieutenant —
Patrol and Police Lieutenant - Investigations existing job descriptions ; AND,
WHEREAS, the Police Chief and Human Resource Director recommend approving the job
description.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa on
this 80' day of July, 2019, that it hereby approves the job description for Police Lieutenant, Police
Department.
