SPECIAL MEETING
MARCH 15,2006
A)Call to Order -The special meeting of the Waukee City Council was called to order by Mayor Peard
at 7:00p.m.
B)Roll CaIl-The following members were present:Mayor Peard and Council Members Bailey,McGee,
Mertz,Stanton,Watts.Absent:None.
C)Agenda Approval Motion by Council Member Mertz,seconded by Council Member Stanton,to
approve the special meeting agenda.Roll Call.Ayes:Mertz,Stanton,Bailey,McGee,Watts.Nays:
None.Motion carried 5 -O.
D)DISCUSSION:On the selection of a search firm for the purpose of conducting the search for
candidates for City Administrator/Clerk -The Council Members individually named their choices for
search firm,and the consensus was that The PAR Group was the best candidate of those interviewed.
Adjournment.Mayor Peard asked for a motion to adjourn.Motion by Council Member Watts,
seconded by Council Member Mertz,to adjourn.Ayes:All.Nays:None.Motion carried 5 -O.
