RESOLUTION 19-276
APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES WITH
SNYDER & ASSOCIATES [TRAFFIC SIGNAL ENHANCEMENTS PROJECT]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, to satisfy certain requirements as part of an Iowa's Clean Air Attainment Program
(ICAAP) grant agreement for the Traffic Signal Enhancements Project, the City desires to retain
the services of Snyder & Associates, Inc., for systems engineering processes and documentation;
AND;
WHEREAS, the scope of services includes, but is not limited to, documentation of the activities
performed by Snyder & Associates, Inc., to determine the improvements necessary to provide the
City with an enhanced traffic signal system to reduce vehicular delay and emissions, optimize
signal operations, and collect real-time data to troubleshoot potential issues; AND,
WHEREAS, the scope of services also includes the development of construction plans and
specifications for vehicle detection system improvements;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Agreement for Professional Consulting Services between Snyder & Associates, Inc., and the City
of Waukee, IA [Traffic Signal Enhancements Project] is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved the 15a' day of July,
2019.
