RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE 2019 UNIVERSITY
AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS (6TH STREET TO IOTH STREET)
WHEREAS, on the 200' day of May, 2019, the Mayor and Clerk of the City of Waukee,
Iowa, entered into a construction contract with Grimes Asphalt & Paving Corp. of Des Moines,
IA, for the construction of certain public improvements generally described as the 2019
University Avenue Improvements (6th Street to loth Street); and
WHEREAS, the contractor has fully completed the construction of the public
improvements in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract and plans and
specifications, as shown by the certificate of the Engineer filed with the Clerk on July 2, 2019,
2019:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WAUKEE, STATE OF IOWA:
Section 1. That the report of the Engineer be and the same is hereby approved and
adopted, and the public improvements are hereby approved and accepted as having been fully
completed in accordance with the plans, specifications and form of contract and the total final
construction cost thereof is hereby determined to be $213,054.81, as shown in the report of the
Engineer.
