(A)Call to Order -The regular meeting of the Waukee City Council was called to order by Mayor
Peard at 5:35 p.m.in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
(B)Pledge of Allegiance
(C)Roll Call-The following members were present:Mayor William F.Peard;Council Members
Shane Blanchard,Dan Dutcher,Casey L.Harvey,Darlene Stanton.Absent:Council Member
Mike Watts.

(F)Mayor's Report -Mayor Peard attended the Waukee Chamber of Commerce holiday party on
12/28 and will attend the ABllegislative reception on 01/12.He wished all a happy new year
and expressed his thanks to those citizens who are willing to serve on the City's boards,
committees and commissions.

1)Proclamation:In honor of Dennis Dowell upon his retirement as Code Compliance
Officer for the City of Waukee -Mayor Peard read the proclamation aloud and presented it
to Dennis Dowell.
2)Greater Dallas County Development Alliance annual report -Report made by GDCDA
Executive Director Linda Schaut.

that recent analysis of this and the following proposed ordinance reflected different sanitary
sewer needs in the affected areas,so that those areas were now anticipated to be serviced by
intrastructure other than the University Avenue Trunk Sewer.Therefore,City staff
recommends the ordinances not be approved and that staff be directed to draft ordinances to
remove this and the following ordinance from City Code.Results of vote:Ayes:None.Nays:
