WORK SESSION MEETING
January 17,2011
A)Call to Order -The work session meeting of the Waukee City Council was called to order by Mayor
Peard at 5:30 p.m.in the Waukee City Council Chambers.
B)Roll Call-The following members were present:Mayor William F.Peard;Council Members Shane
Blanchard,Dan Dutcher,Casey L.Harvey,Darlene Stanton,Mike Watts.Absent:None
Also present:City Administrator/Clerk Jeffrey L.Kooistra,Assistant to the City Administrator
McKinlee Gibson,Director of Finance Linda Burkhart,Director of Development Services Brad Deets,
Director of Public Works John Gibson,Assistant Director of Public Works Tim Royer,Parks and
Recreation Director Matt Jermier,Library Director Maryann Mori,Police Chief Larry J.Phillips,Fire
Chief Clint Robinson.
C)Agenda Approval -Council Member Stanton moved to approve the agenda;seconded by Council
Member Dutcher.Roll call:Ayes:Stanton,Dutcher,Blanchard,Harvey,Watts.Nays:None.Motion
carried 5 -O.
D)Work Session:FY2012 City Budget-The Council and department heads reviewed and discussed
the proposed budget for FY2012.
E)Comments
Adjournment -Council Member Harvey moved to adjourn;seconded by Council Member Dutcher.
Ayes:All.Nays:None.Motion carried 5 -O.
