SPECIAL MEETING
August 15,2013
A.Call to Order -The special meeting of the Waukee City Council was called to order by Mayor
Peard at 12:05 p.m.in the Waukee City Council Chambers.
B.Roll Call-The following members were present:Mayor William F.Peard (via telephone);Council
Members Shane Blanchard,Shelly Hughes (via telephone),Mike Watts (via telephone).Absent:
Council Members Casey L.Harvey,C.Isaiah McGee.
Also in attendance:City Administrator Tim Moerman,Director of Development Services Brad Deets,
Director of Public Works John Gibson,City Clerk Rebecca D.Schuett.
C.Agenda Approval -Council Member Hughes moved to approve the agenda;seconded by Council
Member Blanchard.Results of vote:Ayes:Blanchard,Hughes,Watts.Nays:None.Absent:
Harvey,McGee.Motion carried 3 -0 -2.
D.Action Items:
1)Resolution:Consideration of approval of a resolution approving final plat for Stone
Prairie Plat 2 -Council Member Blanchard moved to approve the resolution;seconded by
Council Member Hughes.Results of vote:Ayes:Blanchard,Hughes,Watts.Nays:None.
Absent:Harvey,McGee.Motion carried 3 -0 -2.(Resolution #13-213)

Adjournment -Council Member Watts moved to adjourn;seconded by Council Member Hughes.
All.Nays:None.Motion carried 3 -O.
