SPECIAL MEETING
October 14,2013
A.Call to Order -The special meeting of the Waukee City Council was called to order by Mayor
Peard at 12:33 p.m.in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
B.Roll Call -The following members were present:Mayor William F.Peard;Council Members Shane
Blanchard (via telephone),Shelly Hughes (via telephone),Mike Watts (via telephone).Absent:
Council Members Casey L.Harvey,C.Isaiah McGee.
Also in attendance:City Administrator Tim Moerman,Director of Public Works John Gibson,City
Clerk Rebecca D.Schuett.
C.Agenda Approval -Council Member Watts moved to approve the agenda;seconded by Council
Member Blanchard.Results of vote:Ayes:Blanchard,Hughes,Watts.Nays:None.Absent:
Harvey,McGee.Motion carried 3 -0 -2.
D.Action Items:
1)Motion:Consideration of acceptance of quote for construction materials related to the
312'"Place Culvert Replacement Project-Council Member Watts moved to approve the
motion;seconded by Council Member Blanchard.Results of vote:Ayes:Blanchard,Hughes,
Watts.Nays:None.Absent:Harvey,McGee.Motion carried 3 -0 -2.

Adjournment -Council Member Blanchard moved to adjourn;seconded by Council Member Hughes.
Ayes:All.Nays:None.Motion carried 3 -O.
