SPECIAL IIEETING
August 27,2034
A.Call to Order —The special meeting of the Waukee City Council was called to order by Mayor Pro
Tem Harrison at 12:00 p.m.in the East Conference Room at Waukee City Hall,230 W.Hickman Rd.
B.Roll Call —The following members were present:Council Members Brian Harrison (via telephone),
Casey L.Harvey (via telephone),Shelly Hughes,Rick Peterson (via telephone).Absent:Mayor
William F.Peard,Council Member Shane Blanchard.
Also in attendance:City Administrator Tim Moerman,Director of Development Services Brad Deets,
City Clerk Rebecca D.Schuett.
C.Agenda Approval —Council Member Hughes moved to approve the agenda;seconded by Council
Member Harvey.Results of vote:Ayes:Harrison,Harvey,Hughes,Peterson.Nays:None.Absent:
Blanchard.Motion carried 4 —0 —1.
D.Action Items:
1)Resolution:Consideration of approval of a resolution ordering construction of certain
public improvements,and fixing a date for hearing thereon,and ratifying the publicafion
of notice and faking of bids therefor1105'"Street/Alice's Road l-80 InferchangeJ —Council
Member Harrison moved to approve the resolution;seconded by Council Member Hughes.
Director of Development Services Deets briefly reviewed the process for awarding contract.
Results of vote:Ayes:Harrison,Harvey,Hughes,Peterson.Nays:None.Absent:Blanchard.
Motion carried 4 —0 —1.(Resolution 414-224)
