SPECIAL MEETING
December 10,2014
A.Call to Order —The special meeting of the Waukee City Council was called to order by Mayor
Peard at 12:05 p.m.at Waukee City Hall,230 W.Hickman Rd.
B.Roll Call —The following members were present:Mayor William F.Peard (via telephone);Council
Members Shane Blanchard (via telephone),Shelly Hughes (via telephone),Rick Peterson (via
telephone).Absent:Council Members Brian Harrison,Casey L.Harvey.
Also in attendance:Director of Development Services Brad Deets,City Clerk Rebecca D.Schuett.
C.Agenda Approval —Council Member Hughes moved to approve the agenda;seconded by Council
Member Peterson.Results of vote:Ayes:Blanchard,Hughes,Peterson.Nays:None.Absent:
Harrison,Harvey.Motion carried 3 —0 —2.
D.Action Items:
1)Resolution:Consideration of approval of a resolution authorizing funding not to exceed
$15,000.00 for BACooN Ride 2015 entertainment —Council Member Hughes moved to
approve the resolution;seconded by Council Member Blanchard.Results of vote:Ayes:
Blanchard,Hughes,Peterson.Nays:None.Absent:Harrison,Harvey.Motion carried 3 —0—
