Pledge of Allegiance Roll Call —The following members were present:Mayor William F.Peard;Council Members Shane Blanchard,Casey L.Harvey,Rick Peterson.Absent:Council Members Brian Harrison, Shelly Hughes. Also present City Administrator Tim Moerman,Director of Finance Linda Burkhart,Director of Development Services Brad Deets,Director of Public Works John Gibson,Parks and Recreation Director Matt Jermier,Director of Community and Economic Development Dan Dutcher, Marketing and Communications Director Summer Evans,Police Chief John Quinn,City Clerk Rebecca D.Schuett,City Attorney Steve Brick. Mayor's Report —The Waukee Police Department has purchased and deployed body-worn cameras for officers in the field.Over the weekend,the new traffic signals at Hickman Rd./Dartmoor Dr.were activated.The American Gothic-inspired sculptural piece will soon be installed at the Waukee Public Library.All City offices will be closed 11/11 for Veterans Day. Mayor Peard encouraged all to vote in the 11/03 elections.
