AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 502,WAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE,
TRAFFIC REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA,BY AMENDING
SECTION 502.10(S),PARKING REGULATIONS —CENTENNIAL PARK
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is has determined that certain public streets should be
added to the no parking ordinances.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Waukee;
Section 1.Chapter 502,Waukee Municipal Code,Traffic Regulations,Section 502.10 (S),
is hereby amended to prohibit parking as follows:
S.Centennial Park:From the first to the last day of school for the
Waukee Community School District,parking shall be limited to a
maximum of two (2)consecutive hours between the hours of 7
a.m.and 12 p.m.,Monday through Friday,in all parking lots
located in Centennial Park.This prohibition shall not apply to
parking along and adjacent to SE Park Road.
Section 3.Re ealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions
of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 4.Severabili Clause.If any section,provision or part of this ordinance shall be
adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance
as a whole or any section,provision,or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 5.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect upon its final passage,approval
and publication as provided by law.
Passed by the Council the 18"day of September,2017,and approved this 18'"day of September,
2017.
