AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 501,WAUKKK MUNICIPAL CODE,
TRAFFIC REGULATIONS OF THK CITY OF WAUKEK,IOWA AS SPECIFIED
BELOW
WHKREAS,the City of Waukee is has deternuned that certain intersections should be
added and/or amended to the stop intersection ordinances.
BK IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1.Chapter 501,Waukee Municipal Code,Traffic Regulations,Section 501.18,
Through Streets and Stop Intersections,is hereby amended as follows:
B.6"Street,from U.S.Highway No.6 to the south City limits,except
at Ashwoith Drive and Locust Street.
G.4'"Street,from the south City limits to the south line of Northview
Drive and froni the north line of Northview Drive to the south line
of Ashworth Drive and from the noith line of Ashworth Drive to
the south line of U.S.Highway 6.
Section 2.Chapter 501,Waukee Municipal Code,Traffic Regulations,Section 501.18,
Through Streets and Stop Intersections,is hereby amended by adding the following intersections as
Stop Intersections as follows:
CC.SE Westown Parkway (312"Place)from Ute Aveinie east to the
east City limits,except at SE L.A.Grand Parkway and SE
Parkview Crossing.
DD.SE Brick Drive from US Hickman Road to SE University Avenue.
Section 3.Chapter 501,Waukee Municipal Code,Traffic Regulations,Section 501.18B,4-
Way Stop Intersections,is hereby amended by adding the following intersections as 4-Way Stop
Intersections as follows:
P.SE Booth Avenue at SE Florence Drive.
Section 4.Re ealer.All ordinances or paints of ordinances in conflict with the provisions
of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 5.Severabili Clause.If any section,provision or part of this ordinance shall
be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the
ordinance as a whole or any section,provisions or part thereof not adjudged invalid or
unconstitutional.
Section 6.Effective Date.Tlus ordinance shall be in effect from and after its final
passage,approval and publication as provided by law.
Passed by the Council the 2"day of February,2015,and approved this 2"day of February,
2015.
