AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 301,ZONING ORDINANCE,CITY OF
WAUKEE,IOWA BY REPEALING CHPATER 301.31,SCHEDULE OF FEES
WHEREAS,The City of Waukee established within the zoning ordinance nominal fees
associated with the submittal and review of various development applications and inspection
related to private development projects;AND
WHEREAS,such fees are tied to the budgeting process and should be analyzed and
reviewed on a regular basis;AND
WHEREAS,the City Council has directed staff to prepare an annual fee schedule for all
fees charged for applications and services provided by the City of Waukee which shall include
fees for development applications and inspection;AND
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Waukee believes it is in the best interest of
the City that thee fees currently within the zoning ordinance be eliminated and included as a part
of the annual fee schedule as approved by resolution of the City Council.
BE IT THEREFORE ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1.Chapter 301.31 of the Waukee Municipal Code should be and the same is
hereby repealed.
Section 2.Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances In conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3.Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part of this ordinance shall
be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the
ordinance as a whole or any section,provisions or part thereof not adjudged invalid or
unconstitutional.
Section 4.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect from and after its final
passage,approval and publication as provided by law.
