AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 103,DEFINITIONS OF TERMS USED IN
THE MUNICIPAL CODE,BY AMENDING SECTION 103.l(E),CLERK.
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Waukee,by separate Ordinances separated
the Offices of the City Clerk and City Administrator so as to provide for the efficient
administration of the different and distinct duties and responsibilities associated with each office
respectively.
WHEREAS,as a housekeeping matter the definition of City Clerk must also be modified
to accurately defme the reference to "Clerk"throughout the Waukee Municipal Code.
BE IT THEREFORE ORDAlNED by the Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1.Section 103.l(E)of the Waukee Municipal Code is hereby amended by
repealing section 103.1 (E)and enacting in lieu thereof:
103.l(E)CLERK.The City Clerk of the City of Waukee,Iowa.
Section 2 Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions
of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3.Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part of this ordinance shall
be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the
ordinance as a whole or any section,provisions or part thereof not adjudged invalid or
unconstitutional.
Section 4.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect from and after its final
passage,approval and publication as provided by law.
