AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 203,WAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE,BY
REPEALING THE EXISTING RATES FOR WATER AND ENACTING NEW RATES
AS SPECIFIED BELOW:
WHEREAS,due to the increased costs of providing water the City of Waukee has
determined to change the rates for water usage.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1:Chapter 203,Waukee Municipal Code,Section 203.2 should be and the same
is hereby amended by adding section H as follows:
H.Irrigation Water Rates.Beginning August 1,2013,irrigation water usage will
be charged at a rate of one dollar ($1.00)higher per 1,000 gallons per month
than the regular domestic meter rate listed in (D)above.
Section 2 Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions
of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3.Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part of this ordinance shall
be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the
ordinance as a whole or any section,provisions or part thereof not adjudged invalid or
unconstitutional.
Section 4.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect upon its final passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
