AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 227,WAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE,BY
ADJUSTING THE MEETING DATE AND TIME OF THE UTILITIES COMMITTEE
AS SPECIFIED BELOW
WHEREAS,the Utilities Committee desires to change their monthly meeting date and
time.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council ofthe City ofWaulcee:
Section 1:Chapter 227,Waukee Municipal Code,Section 227.5(B)should be and the
same is hereby amended as follows:
§227.5 Powers and Duties.
B.The Utilities Committee shall meet at the call of the Director of Public
Works on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:00 P.M.in the City Hall Council
Chambers or on a date deemed necessary by the Director of Public Works with
the consent of the Chair Person.
Section 2 Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions
of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3.Severability Clanse.If any section,provision or part of this ordinance shall
be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the
ordinance as a whole or any section,provisions or part thereof not adjudged invalid or
unconstitutional,
Section 4.Effective Date.TIllS ordinance shall be in effect upon its final passage,
approval and publication as provided by law.
Passed by the Council the 21't day of November 2011,and approved this 21"day of November
2011.
