AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 207A,WAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE,BY
REPEALING THE EXISTING RATES FOR GOLF AND AMENITIES AT SUGAR
CREEK MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE AND ENACTING NEW RATES AS SPECIFIED
BELOW:
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee seeks to change the rates for golf and amenities at Sugar
Creek Municipal Golf Course.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1:Chapter 207A,Waukee Municipal Code,Section 207A.ll should be and the
same is hereby repealed and enacted in lieu thereof is as follows:
§207 A.ll Golf and Amenity Prices
The following rates and prices shall be charged for Golf and Amenities at Sugar
Creek Golf Course:
A)Regular Rates-Golf:
Monday-Friday Noon 9 Holes:$15.50
Friday Noon -Sunday 9 Holes:$17.00
Rates include applicable sales tax
18 Holes:$24.50
18 Holes:$28.00
B)Seuior Rates (ages 55 and over):
Monday-FridayNoon 9 Holes:$10.00
Rates include applicable sales tax
18 Holes:$17.50
C)Junior Rates (ages 18 and under):
Monday-Friday Noon 9 Holes:$10.00
Rates include applicable sales tax
18 Holes:$17.50
D)Twilight Rate:
7 days a week after 6:30 p.m.Maximum of9 holes:$8.50
Rates include applicable sales tax
E)Cart Rental Prices:
9 Holes:$9.50 18 Holes:$12.50

F)Pull Carts:
9 Holes:$3.00 18 Holes:$5.00
G)Range Balls:
30 Balls $5.00 60 Balls $7.00
Rates include applicable sales tax
90 Balls $9.00
H)Season Passes-Golf (valid March 1st -October 31st):
Single:Monday -Friday Noon (Seniors Only):$495.00*
Single:Monday -Sunday:$645.00*
Single:Junior (ages 18 and under):$325.00*
Couple/Corporate (2 from same family or company):$925.00*
Family (3 or more from same family):$1120.00*
10%discount on golf season pass if purchased before January 31,2012.
5%discount on golf season pass if purchased between February 1,2012
and February 28,2012.
*Plus applicable sales tax
I)Golf Cart Season Pass:
Single:$380.00
Couple:$550.00
Includes applicable sales taxes
J)Discounts-Discount punch cards -10 rounds for the price of nine
10 round punch card-$153.00 (tax included)
K)Clubhouse Rental and Use -The clubhouse may be reserved for the
nonresidential use of groups of persons or organizations.The reservation
and use of the clubhouse shall be allowed only after the execution of the
rental agreement and payment of rental deposit,as established by the City
CounciL The rental fees shall be those approved by the City Council of
the City of Waukee.Use of the clubhouse may only occur between the
hours of 8:00 AM.and 11 :00 P.M.,subject to availability and at the sole
discretion of the Parks and Recreation Department.No beverages of any
kind are permitted at the facility unless purchased from the clubhouse.
Section 2.Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Section 3.Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part of this ordinance shall
be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the
ordinance as a whole or ally section,provisions or part thereof not adjudged invalid or
unconstitutional.
Section 4.Effective Date.TIns ordinance shall be in effect on December 20,2011.
