AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 207A,WAUKEE JVIUNICIPAL CODE,BY
REPEALING THE EXISTING RATES FOR GOLF AND AMENITIES AT SUGAR
CREEK MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE AND ENACTING NEW RATES AS SPECIFIED
BELOW:
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee seeks to chauge the rates for golf and amenities at Sugar
Creek Municipal Golf Course.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waukee:
Section I:Chapter 207 A,Waukee Municipal Code,Section 207 A.ll should be and the
same is hereby repealed and enacted in lieu thereof is as follows:
§207 A.11 Golf and Amenity Prices
The following rates and prices shall be charged for Golf and Amenities at Sugar
Creek Golf Course:
A)Regular Rates-Golf:
Monday-Thursday 9 Holes:$15.00
Friday-s Sunday 9 Holes:$16.50
Rates include applicable sales tax
18 Holes:$24.00
18 Holes:$27.50
B)Senior Rates (ages 55 and over):
Monday -Thursday 9 Holes:$9.00
Rates include applicable sales tax
18 Holes:$16.50
C)Junior Rates (ages 18 and under):
Monday -Thursday 9 Holes:$9.00
Rates include applicable sales tax
18 Holes:$16.50
D)Twilight Rate:
7 days a week after 6:30 p.m.Maximum of9 holes:$7.50
Rates-include applicable sales tax
E)Cart Rental Prices:
9 Holes:$9.00 18 Holes:$12.00

F)Pull Carts:
9 Holes:$2.50 18 Holes:$5.00
G)Range Balls:
30 Balls $4.00 60 Balls $6.00

H)Season Passes-Golf (valid March 1"-October 3151):
Single:Monday-Thursday (Seniors Only):$475.00*

Couple/Corporate (2 from same family or company):$880.00*
Family (3 or more from same family):$1065.00*
10%discount on golf season pass if purchased before January 31,2011.
5%discount on golf season pass ifpurchased between February 1,2011
and February 28,2011.

J)Discounts-Discount punch cards -10 rounds for the price of nine
10 round punch card-$IJ5.00 (tax included)
10 round Junior/Senior -$81.00 (tax included)
K)Clubhouse Rental and Use -The clubhouse may be reserved fOTthe
nonresidential use of groups of persons or organizations.The reservation
and use of the clubhouse shall be allowed only after the execution of the
rental agreement and payment of rental deposit,as established by the City
Council,The rental fees shall be those approved by the City Council of
the City of Waukee.Use of the clubhouse may only occur between the
hours of8:00 A.M.and 11:00 P.M.,subjectto availability and at the sole
discretion of the Parks and Recreation Department.No beverages of any
kind are permitted at the facility unless purchased from the clubhouse.j
Section 2.Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Section 3.Severability Clanse.If any section,provision or part of this ordinance shall
be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall uot affect the validity of the
ordinance as a whole or any section,provisions or part thereof not adjudged invalid or
unconstitutional.
Section 4.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect on January 1,2011.
