AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 502,WAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE,C ]
TRAFFIC REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,lOW A,BY ADDING TO
SECTION 502 "PARKING REGULATIONS,"CERTAIN PUBLIC STREETS AS
SPECIFIED BELOW
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is has determined that certain public streets should be added
to the no parking ordinances.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City ofWaulcee:
Section 1.Chapter 502,Waukee Municipal Code,Traffic Regulations,Section 502.1,is
hereby amended by adding the following public street and prohibiting parking at any time on either
side of said north-south streets:
SE Florence Drive between University Avenue and SE Booth Drive
Section 2.Chapter 502,Waukee Municipal Code,Traffic Regulations,Section 502.5,is
hereby amended by adding the following public streets and prohibiting parking at any time on either
side of said east-west streets:
Northview Drive,west of 6th Street
Northview Drive,fi-om6th Street east for a length of21O feet
N.Venture Drive
SE Westown Parkway J
Section 3.Chapter 502,Waukee Municipal Code,Traffic Regulations,Section 502.7,is
hereby amended by adding the following public street thereby prohibiting parking at any time on the
south side of said east-west street:
NE Fox Trail Run
Section 4.Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of
this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 5.Severability Clause.If ally section,provision or part of this ordinance shall be
adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a
whole or any section,provision,or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,
Section 6.Effective Date.TIns ordinance shall be in effect upon its final passage,approval
and publication as provided by law.
Passed by the Council the 14th day of September 2009,and approved this 14th day of September
2009.
