AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 502,WAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE,,)
TRAFFIC REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA,BY ADDING TO
SECTION 502 "PARKING REGULATIONS,"CERTAIN PUBLIC STREETS AS
SPECIFIED BELOW
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is has determined that certain public streets should be
added to the no parking ordinances.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1.Chapter 502,Waukee Municipal Code,Traffic Regulations,Section 502.5,is
hereby amended by adding the following public streets and prohibiting parking at any time on either
side of said east-west streets:
SE Park Road from 7:00 A.M.to 9 A.M Monday through Friday.
Section 2.Chapter 502,Waukee Municipal Code,Traffic Regulations,Section 502.10,is
hereby amended by adding the following place thereby prohibiting parking as follows:
5B.Centennial Park:No parking between the hours of 7 a.m.to 9
a.m.Monday through Friday in specific parking lots located in
Centennial Park.This prohibition applies to the parking lots
adjoining SE Park Road to the south of said street;and the
parking lot adjoining SE University Avenue to the north of said
Street.

Section 3.Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions
of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 4.Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part of this ordinance shall be
adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance
as a whole or any section,provision,or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 5.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect upon its final passage,approval
and publication as provided by law.
Passed by the Council the 16tl'day of November 2009,and approved this 16tl1 day of November
2009.
