AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 501,WAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE,
TRAFFIC REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA,BY REPEALING
THE SE PARK ROAD DESIGNATION AS A ONE-WAY STREET IN SECTION
501.13(A)OF THE ViAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE.
WHEREAS,due to recent improvements to park road the street is now more capable of
being utilized for traffic in both directions simultaneously;and
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is has determined that Section 501.13(A)should be
amended to remove Park Road as a designated one-way street therein.
BE IT THEREFORE ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1.Chapter 501,Waukee Municipal Code,Traffic Regulations,Section 501.13(A)
is amended by repealing and removing "Park Road"as a designated one-way street therein.
Section 2.Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions
of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3.Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part of this ordinance shall
be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ]
ordinance as a whole or any section,provisions or part thereof not adjudged invalid or
unconstitutional.
Section 4.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect from and after its final
passage,approval and publication as provided by law.
Passed by the Council the 16th day of November 2009,and approved this 16th day of November
2009.
