ORDINANCE,CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA,BY AMENDING SECTION 306.lB,BY
REPEALING SAID SECTION AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF
ESTABLISHMENT OF OFFICIAL FLOOD PLAIN ZONING MAP
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1:Chapter 306,Flood Plain Management Ordinance,City of Waukee Municipal
Code,Section 306.lB should be and the same is hereby repealed and enacted in lieu thereof is as
follows:
§306.IB.Establishment of Official Flood Plain Zoning Map
The Dallas County and Incorporated Areas Flood Insurance Map,City of Waukee Panels 220,
240,335,345,and 355,prepared as part of the Flood Insurance Study for Dallas County and
Incorporated Areas,dated December 4,2007,is hereby adopted by reference and declared to be
the Official Flood Plain Zoning Map.The flood profiles and all explanatory material contained
with the Flood Insurance Study are also declared to be a part of this ordinance.
Section 2.Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3.Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part of this ordinance
shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the
ordinance as a whole or any section,provisions or part thereof not adjudged invalid or
unconstitutional.
Section 4.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect from and after its final
passage,approval and publication as provided by law.
