AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 110,WAUKEE MUNICIPAL CODE,
CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA,BY DELETING SAID CHAPTER IN ITS ENTIRETY AND
INSERTING IN LIEU THEREOF LANGUAGE ESTABLISHING THE SALARIES OF
MUNICIPAL OFFICERS
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council ofthe City of Waukee:
Section 1.Establishing the Salaries of Municipal Officers.Chapter 110,Waukee
Municipal Code,Establishing the Salaries of Municipal Officers,is hereby repealed,and the
following ordinance is hereby enacted in lieu thereof:
Section 110.1 Council Members.The salary of each council
member including the Mayor Pro Tem shall be $425.00 per month.
Section 1l0.2
of$575.00 per month.
Mayor.The mayor shall receive a monthly salary
Section 1l0.3 Treasurer.The compensation of the Treasurer
shall be set by resolution of the Council.
Section 1l0A Other Officers.The compensation of all other
officers and employees shall be set by resolution of council.
Section 2.Repealer.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions
of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3.Severability Clause.If any section,provision or part of this ordinance shall be
adjudged invalid or unconstitutional,such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance
as a whole or any section,provision,or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 4.Effective Date.This ordinance shall be in effect upon its final passage,approval
and publication as provided by law.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,this 15tl1 day of October 2007,and
approved this 15th day of October 2007.
